The ‘Dignity of Women – Scriptural Reflections’ exhibition went to Wales

The Cardiff United Synagogue graciously hosted the event of the exhibition and discussion session in the evening, which was attended by members from local Jewish, Sikh, Muslim, Christian and Brahma Kumari communities.

Participants had the opportunity to view the exhibition and to take part in a facilitated discussion. The Chair of the Synagogue commenting on the ‘thoughtful and deep’ discussion that took place. Those present appreciated the importance of opportunities to come together from across different faith traditions to discuss religion and women’s equality openly and honestly. One participant stated that as a result of the session she would “encourage others to learn more about what the religious view on women, and promote the place of religion in our lives as central to equality for all”.
